Don't forget the exorbitant amounts of fist-bumping and bro-hug-bumping.

And the scenes of them oiling up each others' nude bodies. And dancing to the Village People.

Oops! Spoilers!

Saw an advanced screening of Scott Pilgrim last week and the midnight showing last night.  Over-the-top cgi heavy fight sequences, video game and pop culture references out of every orifice, and an awesome indie/punk soundtrack.

Fantastic flick.  If you're a nerd, you would do well to see this movie.

Can't wait for scott pilgrim, however "The Room" is playing at midnight movies tonight.

I know where my money is going.

And fuck the expendables, that movie looks atrocious.

But not atrocious enough that it might be enjoyable.

It looks like a moderate level of atrocious. Like...it only needs 10% more bad. But it doesn't have it in it though.

I've purposefully avoided learning anything about the movie. I want to just wander into the theater with no idea what to expect and see what happens.

I except there to be pain.

Come see The Room with me instead.

Much better decision. You can be in STL by midnight, right?

Saw Expendables last night.

FUCKING AWESOME.

If you liked Commando, Rambo, Cobra, Red Heat, Transporter, Red Skorpion, etc. then you need to see this movie.

If you are one of those whiny arts movie bitches, take a hike and go watch Blair Witch again... or something with Robert Redford in it.

If Michael Bay did a remake of "It's Complicated" I think that would clearly signal that the end of the world had arrived and the Great Old Ones were poised to turn Earth into a hellish reflection of their native realms...

Michael Bay = Killing classic horror movies one lame remake at a time!

I'm on the fence about The Expendables.  Too much exposition (written by Stalone who should never write exposition ever), not enough killin'.  Also, I was promised nine action stars and only really got 3.  What's up with that?  That said, the final action sequence was pretty awesome and reminded me of how Wushu should be played.

Scott Pilgrim kicked ass, even if the opening was a bit slow at times.  It was kind of hard to follow (but I mean they were jamming 6 books into one movie, so sacrifices had to be made).  Still, awesome action, and Michael Cera was actually a pretty good fit for Scott Pilgrim.
