Just beat Castle Crashers with my wife. We're going to go back and get all of the animals and the weapons after we finally finish Scott Pilgrim.
I'm from Alaska. About Fifty miles south of Ankorage there's a little fishing town, maybe you've heard of it, it's called fuck your momma.

Castle Crashers is great fun.  I might pick up some points to get it...

Castle Crashers is fun until you get to Insane Mode, where every enemy takes 5 minutes to kill.

Scott Pilgrim was fun with friends, but really frustrating near the end. I suppose it replicates retro games perfectly.

I just got Left 4 Dead 2 if anyone wants to play

Sure, Steam name?

Sorry I'm Xbox360 only.
Thanos: "I am going to sacrifice the Earth to gain the love of Death"
Me: (slowly raise eyebrow) "Destroy the Earth? That would be...illogical"
Vortex: "Yes...that...would be...highly...illogical."
Thanos: "Your Star Trek references bore me."

The demo really impressed me, I must go back and finish the first game before I play it though.

I've played a couple of hours of it, in coop and sp. I'm really enjoying it, the game has a really good sense of humor, along with an interesting magic system. The only problem is there's been some common losing of save games, which I'm sure is incredibly frustrating. The coop was unplayable at release with more than two people, and I'm not sure if it's any better now. Just playing through the first couple of levels tonight with a friend worked well with no game breaking glitches.

Try the demo for sure, if you're willing to play with some bugs or wait for a patch, I'd recommend it.

I played the demo and got through the tutorial but the controls are killing me. I am not going to play a game where I have to hold down the LMB in order to move.

Also, it's impossible for me to deal with more than one or two enemies at a time but I realize that's just because I'm new at the game and I suck at it. I keep flailing around trying to come up with a spell but the goblins keep jumping on me or attacking me and I lose the spell. So, I can deal with that. What, I can't deal with is that the first spellbook for rain makes the symbols so tiny I can't read them. I tried casting rain with every possible symbol that would work but I can't make out those symbols and there's no in-game journal you can read to explain the spells in more detail.

The one symbol you probably can't make out is Steam; it needs Fire and Water. I couldn't work that one out without asking a friend for help. When in doubt. Lightning, Lighting, Arcane, Arcane, Fire.

I agree that the game doesn't do a very good job of explaining some parts to the player. It's a shame, the game would really be so much better with a few more layers of polish.

Also, how's APOX?

On the last bit of my enjoyment with Gran Turismo 5, really feeling the lack of events.

Got gold on all the licenses, and all the races, the only things really left to do are 2 of the special events I can't do, and the endurance races which I don't really want to (they're easy as crap, but some are 4,8 or 24 hours long, so fuck that).

Although they do provide new events via download...4 or 5 pretty darn easy races every 2 weeks, thanks a crapload, hope they don't strain themselves trying to keep that pace up. And you have to be logged into their online to do them, which increases the length of time of loading the main screen by at least a minute (oh GOD the loading times!! you spend more time waiting for things then actually racing.)

Plus I can't play online because fucking dialup is the best internet I can get (and they figured to hell with single player because they have an online mode, like alot of games nowadays)

On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness is on sale on Steam for the weekend.  $3 for both parts, good deal, probably will grab it myself...

Just bought it, played the first part when it came out a couple of years ago, this gives the the excuse to replay it and beat the sequel.

Also the Super Meat Boy soundtrack is amazing and should be purchased by everyone: http://dbsoundworks.bandcamp.com/album/super-meat-boy-soundtrack

Playing Armored Core . . . wait . . . no, its Front Mission: Evolved. It seems as if it is the same thing though.
