I have listed to the first have of the new DS campaign, and I love it!

I loved the opening segment with an action scene, and then they broke away to a flashback. Well done Ross.

To be honest, I have a hard time following and enjoying the New World campaign, so I usually just let those go on by, but I am totally hooked into the new Dark Sun.

Also, Ross, every time Tom bitches at you, send more undead his way!!!  :D

Only about forty minutes into the Dark Sun campaign, and I am diggin' it. Everybody seems to have absorbed the setting and created compelling characters. Though there will undoubtedly be issues with Aaron's character...

I wonder how Eladrin flesh tastes?

Long time listener, first time caller here.

I have listened to the entire New World campaign, and look forward to more of this Dark Sun campaign.

Hearing Cody and Tom play characters that are very different from their NWC is very entertaining.  Jason and Aaron sound like they are having fun for players new to 4e.

I don't wanna nitpick, cause gods know I don't know all the rules, but I did hear some things the players were not getting right.

In the big fight near the end,  Aaron was using his Hunter's Quarry wrong.  It sounded like he was using it on all targets of a select race in the fight.  It is only usable on one target at a time, not a particular race.

Also when Tom got beat down, Cody I think, healed him.  When he got healed he should have started from 0 hit points + his healing surge.  You don't count from negative value, and healing from negative takes you straight to 0 + surge value.

And for Tom's benefit, unless you guys are using a house rule,  death is at Negative bloodied value.  I think you missed it by 2 points heh.

It sounded like a tense fight.  I can't wait to listen to the next AP.   Maybe Cody will remember his elemental defenses so you guys get hit a little less  ;)

Yeah I figured the negative HP thing was wrong but didn't want to stop the fight to look it up.

MAYBE NEXT TIME THE LAZY PLAYERS WILL LOOK THE RULES UP SO I DON'T HAVE TO ALL THE TIME.

Players can't be lazy if they are DEAD.

Well.

Actually, they probably can be pretty lazy, because then they're not playing. Unless they make new PCs in the background. But whatever.

Kill!

I thought as soon as you got to bloodied you died, that's how intense it is!
