The RPPR radio.

What are you listening to these days? Or right now. Frequent updates of this thread are to be appreciated. Bashing others taste in music is verboten. Praising others taste in music is bueno. Yes it's a double standard.

DEAL WITH IT!

PS. Expect Ross to post indie tecno house jamz so obscure he was listening to them before they were cool....yo.

PPS. Don't you dare disappoint me Ross.

Oh and a youtube link is by no means a necessity or anything. Just at least post the band name and the song in question. Just FYI.

I heart Stars.

If you've never heard them live then you've never heard them. They are fantastic. They do this whole shoegaze'esqe wall of sound thing with a brass section that is just ridiculousness awesome. And they are much better singers live. For some reason they try to sound lo-fi garag-y on their albums and it just doesn't capture their pure awesome.

To be honest, I've tried to listen to some of their other albums, but nothings really grabbed me as much as The Five Ghosts (first i heard of them was someone suggesting five ghosts, maybe its a bad starting point?).

Stars is pretty hit or miss with me. Most of what I like from them comes off of "In Our Bedroom After the War."

Yeah. I felt the same way. Till I saw them Live. They get my respect for being one of the top 5 best live acts i've ever seen. But their albums are a little scatter shot.

Have you listened to any of 'fun.'? "The Gambler" pretty much destroys me every time I listen to it.

At first I liked you. What with the aphex twins and all. Then i hated you. For so many many reason.  But then I saw "I'm on a Boat" and all was forgiven.

Some of Aphex Twin's stuff freaks me out (like the one that has a face in spectral view).
