Comics

In an attempt to help people avoid spending money on bad comics I decided to toss up a few of my all time favorite comics.

*All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder by Frank Miller, art by Jim Lee

*GTO by Tohru Fujisawa

*Transmetropolitan by Warren Ellis, art by Darick Robertson

anyone got any recommendations?

All-Star Superman by Grant Morrison and Frank Quietly is simply the greatest comic ever written. There is seriously no other comic that is better than this one.

After you read all 12 issues, then you have to go to Newsarama and read his 10 part interview. It is absolutely beautiful.

Other suggestions:

The entire Green Lantern run by Geoff Johns
the Twelve by JMS (if the damn thing ever finishes)
the Golden Age by James Robinson
Planetary by Ellis
the Filth by Grant Morrison (you can see a pornstar dressed as Satan shoot black jizz)!

There are a ton more, but these are a good start.

If you aren't reading The Walking Dead then you've done a great disservice to yourself.
