Neil Gaiman wrote a Cthulhu short story?

My mind was blown today.
I found out that in 1986 Neil Gaiman wrote a Cthulhu short story that was published in Dagon magazine nr.16 .

As far as I can see it's Gaimans first published story.

Really?  I have to go to my public library and check out The Sandman again.  (Yes, my local library has Sandman.  It's cool that way  )

On a side note.  Here is another Old One story by him that I didn't know about.  Some kind soul on the internet told me about it on in another forum.

He also wrote A Study in Emerald.
