That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy listening to Ross plod his way through Cody's game.

I like that this is turning into Dash Vs. The Brain Trust.

Ross keeps saying the same thing, that he's not interested in a He-Man game, and all of us keep talking about Ross playing in a He-Man game.

Side story
After our first game went relatively well, and after Rich had moved away, I convinced my girlfriend at the time (my wife now) to play with us. Also, my friend Chris was debating about gaming with us, so I decided to run a one shot for people to experiment with a different class and also so our two new players could get adjusted with how to play the game.

I honestly don’t remember any of the characters, but I remember the setting relatively well. A group of travelers have been on the run from Empress Lyn’s army when they discovered what appeared to be an abandoned mansion. They entered to find seven rooms in a massive hallway. This was a very basic encounter where players did some minor battling with easily killable monsters to give the newbies a feel for combat. There was one room that featured the diamond ray of disappearance (the mcguffin from the most famous He-man episode of all time) but alas, none of the players discovered the diamond.

Eventually, a monsterous creature battled the players and they were horrified to find that this Frankenstein-esque monster kept changing faces and it was nearly invincible. I had reimagined Man-E-Faces as a creature that was more or less a suit that possessed whoever wore it and drank the life force out of them until it was ready for a new shell. Sort of like a soul sucking hermit crab.

They killed the creature by luring it into some trap and then they entered a laboratory to find a mad doctor performing arcane rituals. I don’t remember how the scenario ended, but I know that none of the players were left alive and I teased giant tubes that seemed to contain some kind of creatures. Who knows what was going on? The players had a rough idea, but they wouldn’t know the full story for at least six months.

Personally speaking, if I were running an RPG based in a cartoon universe, I'd go with Pirates of Dark Water over He-Man, but that's just me.

No way. He-Man makes me want to suck all the gold out of Cody's balls.
He has awakened something within me that i didn't know was there before.

I'm pretty sure Savage Worlds was created to run He-Man. There is no other explanation. Resurrect MOTU, please oh lord.
I wish I was Tom.

I'll have to see if it works in RL first but okay, consider yourself on the waiting list.

Mike: Hey guys, you know what what I learned the other day?

Everyone: What?

Mike: I learned I can shoot halfway across the room!

Ross: Umm...

Tom: Uhh?

Cody: THAT'S AWESOME. I've never measured myself, but that is really COOL!

I respect Mike, but I now love Cody more than ever.

"Is this some sort of gay thing?"
"No."
"Are you sure?"
*pause* "uhhh . . . yes."

Ditto on that.

Is it wrong that I'm actually wondering what the science behind that is?
Thanos: "I am going to sacrifice the Earth to gain the love of Death"
Me: (slowly raise eyebrow) "Destroy the Earth? That would be...illogical"
Vortex: "Yes...that...would be...highly...illogical."
Thanos: "Your Star Trek references bore me."

Yes. It is very wrong.

Remember children: your body is a horrible, horrible place and no one wants to know anything about it.

At least if you're Catholic, then that's the philosophy.
