Hi, I've been listening to the podcast (mainly Actual Plays) and playing tabletop RPGs for about 6 months, mainly various Savage Worlds supplements and D&D 3.5. My extent of GMing was running a CoC oneshot called The Haunting a while ago.

Also I'm from England.

Welcome to the madness, mate!  The Haunting is one of the scenarios from the CoC handbook, isn't it?

Ross, you should post Aaron's running of The Haunting sometime for the non-payers.

Maybe, but I got the PDF as a quickstart from the Chaosium site, http://www.chaosium.com/article.php?story_id=87

I know I couldn't have done that well as the keeper because they all survived, and only one guy got mind controlled and tried to stab his friend with a scalpel.

Hi, my name is Mike, and unlike my avatar, I look nothing whatsoever like Bruce Campbell.  ???

My introduction to RPPR came in a very round-about way - through Dwarf Fortress.
Someone mentioned Boatmurdered over on the Giant forums, and they linked the Something Awful Let's Play forum. I followed, like it, signed up under the same name there, and eventually found my way to Trad Games Discussion, where I lurk like a terrified kitten. I saw a few things from Ross there, then I believe I was actually sent here by someone doing an LP of 4E D&D. I found a link to U-Boote Heraus, and I've been listening ever since.

I just ran my first Call of Cthulhu game last week, and I'm due to be running another tonight. I've got at least two years of APs saved to my computer from my group's weekly D&D games, but unfortunately since a lot of them involve copyrighted music, I will not be posting them here. I will, however, be trying to put up any oneshots we've done without such bits of potentially-illegal clips.  ;D

As for me? I suppose I work well as a DM since I'm already the earthly embodiment of evil - I work for for the Tax Department.  :o I'd like to try and set up my own production company in the future, working on games and mixed media projects.

Love the podcast, love the APs, and the forums seem great.
Hi all!

Hey all, I am Derek from Minneapolis.  I have been listening to the podcasts for a few months after my brother-in-law pointed them out to me.  I have a hit and miss group that we have two games between now.  Usually we get a game in every 3-6 weeks, so I spose it could be worse.  I GM more often than not, but I enjoy it so it's of no issue.

Otherwise, said brother-in-law just had a daughter about two weeks ago and my wife and I are expecting our first in about three months, so that is exciting.  It may wreck havok with getting sessions going, but at least I can talk shop with the brother-in-law at family functions, so that helps.

congratulations you made it through the painful nowning process.

It took me this long to realise this was a Buffy Quote.

I'm known for my obscure Whedonverse quotes and even talking like that from time to time.

I am what you would call an expert on Buffy The Vampire Slayer. It is my favorite piece of fiction. If every time I turned on the TV for the rest of my life there was an episode on, I wouldn't mind.

I think that's an episode of the Twilight Zone.

I cant believe that I haven't introduced myself on this thread and in this forum yet...

My name is Patrick. I live in Oceanside, California and I'm 35ish...

I've been gaming for the better part of two decades and after a long break I found a great group of guys who enjoy the hobby as much as I do!

One of the guys I game with is a big RPPR'r as well and we frequently talk about how "gay" (sorry R.J.) Cody is... Just kidding Cody, we love you!

I'm a sometimes-poster on this forum and a part-time Ross Payton stalker on gmail's instant messenger.

Tom Church is my favorite cast member because he fucking rocks!

Anyway, thats it for my formal introduction

Hej! I found this place by googling for WoD scenarios, for inspiration on an upcoming campaign , and finding Candle Cove; loved it!

My name's Johan. I'm a 25 yo engineer with a 15 y background of game mastering, I live in Sweden and I'll post here a few times a year on various drama, mechanics or plot idea questions.

Sweden?!?!? Awesome I have a character in my Mutants and Masterminds game that's a die hard Frolunda Indians fan! Welcome to the club!
Thanos: "I am going to sacrifice the Earth to gain the love of Death"
Me: (slowly raise eyebrow) "Destroy the Earth? That would be...illogical"
Vortex: "Yes...that...would be...highly...illogical."
Thanos: "Your Star Trek references bore me."
