Ironically the voice acting was indeed the worst part, but I'm hoping that those are early recordings (or something made just for alpha as to not give away any actual story). Honestly, the Crucible voicework was even worse. They seemed like one of the programmers laid down a quick track just to have something there.

It's very likely that when Payday 2 goes on a Daily Deal or flash sale that the DLC will be discounted too. If you cna wait until then, you will probably save a few bucks. Otherwise, that 66% off will stay until June 29th, so there's no rush to buy just yet.

If you want maximum bang for your buck, here's a handy flowchart.

Also, to keep track of great sales for games that normally don't show up on Daily deals or flash sales (little known indie games are one example) or you simply want to compare prices, this is the God tool of sales. http://steamdb.info/sales/

Playin' through Silent Hill: Downpour on the Xbux360.  It is sloppy and buggy as hell, and it sticks to the Silent Hill tropes (yay puzzles yay), and the monsters are kind of lame, but FUCK if I can't get enough of it.  Definitely going for a Silent Hill 2 or Silent Hill 4: The Room story, and I dig it so far.  I miss Silent Hill games.  :(

Err, Silent Hill: Downpour is okay...until it tries to become an open world type game.  Then holy shit is it bad. :(

Hit me up for some Payday 2 (if you like).  Stoked for the co-op stuff and had some fun times (surprisingly) with just random people....

Not doing much these days, so feel free to message me on Steam (mckma) if you are looking for another person, and I'll probably be in for a few games....

I had no intention of buying anything but I'm already neck deep.

Wolf Among Us
Devil May Cry 3 and 4
Enslaved
Monaco

And I'm probably gonna end up buying more... *sigh*

While I scour through Steam sales I have gotten back into Payday 2. The Big Bank update has dragged me back in, so if anybody need a level ~75 technician feel free to hit me up on Steam. I'm KamenOtaku and my skype email is listed on my forum profile.

Also, Shadow Warrior and Wolfenstein: The New Order are both pretty good and I'd recommend them, especially if they hit the Steam sale.

Just completed Watch Dogs. Game-play was alright, but the story and characters are laughably bad.

Pauly: Yeah, I was having a discussion about the $5 Skyrim with a co-worker today. So much gaming to price ratio... Wow. I did pick up the DLC finally, and plan on running through it again with a different race/class/build.

I beat Alan Wake: American Nightmare, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Batman: Arkham City in the last month. Was thinking of installing Baldur's Gate 1 & 2. I never even got more than halfway through the first game when it came out, and I've been looking for a "game to play" lately. I've tried 2 or 3 on my Steam library, and I'm just not feeling it for anything yet.

Got Payday 2 and 2 of it's DLC's for 80% off.

Then convinced a bunch of people to do the same.

Heisting has never been so sloppy.

I did choose to buy this after seeing the Let's Play of the RPPR crew throwing down.

I found it strange that Aaron was able to kill cops at all.

Thought there might be some moral qualms involved but all in all the game looked like such an impressive jump over the first one I had to try it.

I got:
-Transistor 33% off
-DmC (Devil May Cry reboot or prequel or something) 75% off
-Metal Gear Rising: Revengance 50% off

Beaten Transistor and Revengance so far.  Sort of grudgingly looking forward to starting up DmC, kinda expecting it to be easily the weakest of the three though.

Was not expecting to buy any more games for a while... then Shovel Knight came out.  *shakes fist*  Dammit steam you're getting $15.00 more bucks from me before the week is out.
