It is mostly just gentle ribbing but we are trying to have less stuff in our life so try to not purchase physical goods if it can be avoided. I use to love having books around me but now I tend to see them as loading me down. Been trying to downsize down to only those books i have some emotional connection to. We both still have way to many books as the people who assisted in our last move will attest but we are trying. The proliferation of PDFs has helped out in that regard quite a bit as pretty much all new purchases have been via PDF.

Anyway I will likely purchase Nights and hopefully even get a chance to run it.

I am also considering purchase of Nights Black Agents but my wife makes fun of me when I buy games that I will never run even though I like to read them so we shall see if I can live with the ridicule.

Caleb, in the stretch goal adventure, will the villian be a space whale?

I am putting my money on the whole scenario turning out to be the dream of a space whale. That seems like Caleb all the way.

Scale that up to human-size and you've got some good monster fodder.

More fuel to pull out when people say how good nature is. Nature is one cruel m-fer.

Is the new scenario going to be part of Transhuman or it's own thing? I understood that Ross and Caleb had both done some work for Transhuman but was operating under the assumption this stretch goal for the scenario was for something outside Transhuman. Looking back I realize I have no basis for this belief other than a desire for it to be true.

Congratulations are in order. I hope Caleb is able to hoist a beverage of his choice to his (hopefully) speedy status change to published author.

Just don't let Ross give you that drink. I fear he may be driven mad by no longer being the only author and we all know how crafty and devious he can be.

I am doing the Reign game on Friday. I was not able to get into a Lycan game sadly.

My schedule is pretty open actually. It is also my first GenCon so I am going to see if I can fill it in some gaps but mostly I suspect I am going to wander. Someone I talked to mention that there is a lot of people who run pickup games of various types.

For those that have been in the past is it common for games that were locked in to open up before the convention as people change their schedule or do thing stay locked in till day of events?

I did not get into either the Gumshoe or Dirty World games but given there was only one event each I knew that was a major long shot. I did get into a Eclipse Phase and Reign game so happy about that. Need to poke around and see if an COC games are still open.

I upped my pledge. I was thinking I wanted some of the goodies from the levels higher than I was pledge at anyway but this was a nice little incentive to think I might help get a new scenario produced and hopefully let Caleb add to his resume.

Just saw the new stretch goal for the Kickstarter Transhuman. If they hit 80k they bring Caleb (and maybe the RPPR crew) onboard to write a new scenario.

I hope it happens and while this maybe a bit premature but based on KickTraq the trend is for this to become a reality so congrats to Caleb.
