It doesn't usually matter much to them. They really like to customize their characters and optimize stuff.

Nice. I have Fear and Book of UnR Horror which I like. I will probably get ToC and a scenario tomorrow. It's much easier than learning CoC and getting my group to learn a new system.

If Ross hasn't run Rogue Trader, i'd listen to the wisdom of crowds and go with CoC or Monsters or Wild Talents. You could likely get into the Rogue Trader game Tad GMs via Skype.

I didn't quote the text as I'm using my mobile to update, but I was referring to Wooberman's request. Let me know of you need additional contributors. I don't want Tad to go bankrupt and lose his Internet access . . . or house.

At least 3 of the Nerdbound folks were interested. I'll have a better count on Sunday, but we may be able to combine forces. Even if we do a Nerdbound game ourselves, I'm not opposed to throwing in $20 to play in another game. Gotta spend that tax return.

I get the game with Ross AND sensual Cthulhu pictures from Cody.  Where do I sign up?

Follow-up question, what is my reward if I can get a Skype game with a prostitute set up?  I have to believe I could get that together.

Additional question on the possible new reward.  If I put up $100, can I also release the game on my podcast?  I'd be happy to coordinate it so that it was a simultaneous release.  I am REALLY tempted to make you run the worst game of all time that has been mentioned previously, but I think I'd rather choose CoC so that I have nightmares rather than you.

Ross what type of place do you think this is? A place where multiple people can communicate what they think or know for other people to see? That's nonsense.

The Hard Boiled Armies supplement over at RPGNow was pretty helpful for giving some ideas on running wars in D&D.  It's pretty obvious, but had some good hints.  I used it in our New World campaign for one of the battles and with some tweaking think it could be pretty cool.  It's mostly about some flavor text and modifying a few of the mechanics.  I'll probably use it again to have some tactical battles on a larger scale.  Hopefully it goes smoothly next time.

Tad had also started a Monsters and Other Childish Things Candlewick Manor pbp game over on the NerdBound forum if anyone is interested.

Sorry, I'll try not to jump the gun.  I understand writer's block on these things for sure.  The Candlewick game on our forum has me hooked too, so it's no big deal.  It's already so different than Ross' scenario that I have no idea what will happen.  I can't wait to find out.

If I don't have any idea which direction is the likely way to the comm. equipment.  I have the men lead the way to the hallways and look down each one to see what is there.

Great here come the night terrors.

M&M didn't sound confusing so much as annoying with opposed rolls versus every damned action.  I've found that Wild Talents isn't any less complicated though.  My group just about had aneurysms creating characters and trying to play a test scenario.  Once you learn it, it's pretty straightforward and simple.
