My friend makes amazing belts, and he is launching a Kickstarter to make MOAR sweet belts at a cheaper price.

Victor LaSalle is great; love how he inverts Lovecrafts racism to add that level of institutional horror

What even is that

It is basically pro wrasslin's The Room, or an attempt to do an avant garde pro wrestling storyline.

Here is the version including all the build-up to the. . .umm. . . "match."

! No longer available

The best thing is that WWE was apparently threatened by this thing, and made their OWN experimental match. . . with higher production values. . . and pick-axes. . . and a horror movie approach instead of bizarre comedy.  O_o

What happens when a failing wrestling promotion tries to use two aging icons of HARDCORE wrestling to save their business?  THE FINAL DELETION!

FAQ:

1.  Do I need to know any of the backstory to understand this?
No.

2.  . . . should I consume a mind-altering substance prior to watching this?
It would help.

3.  what the fuck is this i can't even

Finishing  Laird Barron's Nanashi part 1. Holy hell if you like yakuza and mythos horror you should read it.

What is the title of the book?  Will read!

I'm reading NOS4A2 by Joe Hill.  Heart-Shaped Box was awesome, Horns was kinda lame, but NOS4A2 is basically Joe Hill's attempt at doing a supernatural behemoth like his dad (Stephen King).  And it's pretty great.

I'm thinking of using Transit to demo the game, but using only gear items and boost patches.  This way, the players can play a little bit with powers using the patches and gear to get a sense of what is possible in the game.  I also think this would work to begin a campaign, as the temporary powers wear off, but the players know there are better, permanent powers to be had (or sold!).  Thoughts?

I somehow just now discovered the Last Podcast on the Left, in which comedians go into detail about serial killers, creepypasta, and other dark areas of humanity.

It's beautiful, if you don't mind laughing about human atrocity

General Chaos / Colossal Failures Actual Play Podcast

Hey all,

Just wanted to put up a quick plug for a new podcast I am recording in conjunction with my FLGS.  I used to record quite a bit for the RPPR Community AP site, but life got in the way for awhile.  Like it does.

Anyway, I'm just recording quick APs of one-shot demos of various games that my FLGS has in stock or will order to take advantage of the Bits and Mortar program.  They will be short APs, typically only two hours or so.

And, as the title suggests, mistakes will be made.

Episode 1 is a one-shot of The 13th Age, in which I manage to incorporate a piece of Red Markets (including a name drop!) towards the end.  Really.

Enjoy!

PS - Ross, I do plan on running Base Raiders soon, possibly next week (as one demo of the Fate system).  Have you thought about creating a demo packet to be run as an intro/hook to the game?  I've run it before, obviously, but you would be better at designing characters/designing scenes to highlight the strengths of the game.

I ran a scenario based on the crazy story about the flaming skull from Alaskan Igloo Tales.

things got weird. . . the players sort of established their own secluded cave land

Gotta vote for One Punch Man song.  Your victory can be to walk up to Ken and Robin, punch them, then walk off.
