A little bit of fun which may ruin your life.
« on: October 24, 2010, 04:06:28 PM »
Now does anyone know of 'The Game'?

If so, Have you caused anyone else to lose the game in a suitable awesome manner?

I just wanted to put this out there cos lets face it, we all get bored in our day to day lives and if you've formed a close enough bond with co-workers and your friends you may resort to playing 'The Game'.

I must add that this is not an attempt at Trolling in any way, shape or form.
Its because I love you guys. You keep me sane.

Okay, I'll explain 'The Game'.
You have been playing 'The Game' for most of your life (not counting baby years) and you have been winning.
Unfortunately since you've read this post, you've now lost the game. Its okay, you'll start playing again soon.
Simply put, the only way not to lose the game is to not think about the game.
Once you think about the game, you've lost.
Once you forget about the game, you're playing it again.

This helpful wiki article should fill you in (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Game_%28mind_game%29)

I'm so sorry.

I hadn't lost in so long, I forgot I was playing.

My favourite Game losing moment was when I brought a copy of Michael Douglas' "The Game" and wrapped it up as a birthday present for a friend.

I texted my roommate while he was playing dnd with his friends. I hear from down the hall "god dammit!" A few seconds of murmuring and I hear a whole string of obsinities. I stayed in my room the whole time but from the sound of it I disrupted thier dnd game for a good 15min.
Just because you aren't drunk now doesn't mean you won't have a hangover tommarow.

I say this with love Wooberman, "Go Kill Yourself"

I hate "The Game"

Last time I checked I had free will and could refuse to do anything I didn't want to do. Therefore I am not playing the game, and by default cannot lose the game.

Sorry if I seem a little passionate about my hatred for this but it is one of those inexplicable things that just piss me right the fuck off.
