I landed in the hills somewhere. Couldn't find the house right off the bat so I made my way down to a big frozen lake and dug in an alcove of my own. Found plenty of iron too, got around 40 ore in a chest in the alcove if anyone finds it. I put a stone block extension out onto the lake to mark the spot.

I've make four cobblestone pillars lit up by torches surrounding the compound that Ross and I constructed. You should be able to find it if you follow the coast keeping the water to your left from the spawn. It's safe except from spiders, so you'll probably be fine if you're inside.

Also the main gate is a redstone circuit, I have a basic knowledge of redstone but it's probably not as efficient as it could be. If anyone can make it better feel free to tear it down and remake it.

Oh and help yourself to the communal meat locker.

yeah we've made a good start for a walled town.  Everyone should try to pool their resources together to make a massive city, both above and below ground.

Addition- Hey did somebody make an RPPR sign? I found some guys on the server who said they saw an RPPR sign.

That must be it. I was beginning to think I was on the wrong server. Did you guys set up in the desert or something? I followed the water and I ended up in the swamp surrounded by dozens of cows. I had like 90 leather til I made myself some armor.
