One of the theme ideas I had for the city. "A Fetish for your every Sin."

Meaning that no matter what perversions you want within the city, you can find it somewhere.

That sounds great.  My cheating the innocent days are over but I am always getting into trouble from other activities.  I am also looking for a way to tie in my "Champion of the Underdog" aspect to the "Whose path have you crossed" phase.
I am also pretty much a "Sucker For a Sob Story" which is kinda a subaspect to the underdog aspect.

I think for the city, we should have at least two mortal threats, and one supernatural. One that has no idea about the supernatural: like the police or something, one that would know about the supernatural world, and then something like the white court and the red court.

We have a lot of wizard types so I think it would be hard to ignore the Mage Vs. Vamp war.

I've been trying to decide how i want to handle "fudge dice". Mechanically it's kind of ugly in this scenario.

It's basically 1d81 with 9 scales of use. Given that we are going to be using online random number generators for our dice... We can actually roll an 81 sided die...but then that involves looking at a chart, and even then I really don't like the probability distribution. It's a little two ugly.

Same probability distribution i don't like but we could roll the 4d6 and look at what numbers are rolled and then make and 5/6s pluses, and any 1/2s minuses, but that's kind of ugly.

Here's what I purpose... I think the probability distribution is a little better and a little more epic.
Roll 3d6

Rolled: 3-4| 5 | 6-7 | 8-9 | 10-11 | 12-13 | 14-15 | 16 | 17-18
Result: -4 |-3 | -2  | -1   | +0      | +1     |  +2    | +3 | +4

It increases your odds of rolling a +4 or a -1 by a full half a percent! (semi-sarcasm), while it is weighted a bit more heavily toward the middle, the probabilities are within a percent or two either way for each category. And I was serious about the extra .5% for the big pluses and the big minuses.

But we can just as easily do the 4d6 thing as well.

the dice pool doesn't go high enough, but that is so close to what i need.....and it's at this point that i realize it's play by post and time really isn't a huge factor in these kinds of things.

It's at this point that i realize that rolling the lions share of the dice rolling and authoritating what goes on is my responsibility. I think we'll stick with the forum's native dice roller and invisible castle's dice roller and simply looking at what rolls pop out will be what we do from here on out.


Something like this=   4d6=15, 4d6=17, 4d6=16, 4d6=10

and clicking the link and looking at those 4 rolls i see we get: +1, +2, +1, and a -1 respectively.

Or (DING DING DING) better way to do it is just as above and roll each dice individually.

Like this: 1d6=3, 1d6=1, 1d6=4, 1d6=1

and we can easily see that rolls is:  -2
