Or giving his character weapons of mass destruction.

Hey Kemlin...,1661.0.html ... ahem *cough cough*  :-X

What, you mean treasure vouchers don't come straight out of the 4e DMG?

"I am so sorry"
Aaron's refrain, usually after doing something highly foolish that makes the game more interesting and followed by the other players saying "No, it's okay".
Actually, sometimes he says it right BEFORE doing one of those things...

Role Playing Public Radio Podcast / Re: Future Podcast Topics

You didn't just do it before it was cool, you made it cool.

Yeah, definitely post it anyway. Mine took a person who "went dark" and was presumed killed by Know Evil and gave him an alternative fate. Doesn't quite break canon, but it definitely goes against the assumption.

So do post it, it can't be worse than mine.  ;)

Role Playing Public Radio Podcast / Re: Precognition

Of course the media has a way to deal with the ability. It's called a writer. The character can't see the future and then choose to shoot himself in the face or move to China or whatever to keep it from happening. Bottom line is, if a character wants precog abilities, he'll have to accept some railroading to make sure those abilities actually work.

The whale has an expression on his face like what the hell, man? What did I do? Don't harpoon me, bro!

I've got a few takers on the Eclipse Phase forum, so not closing this to any other people interested as we haven't gone through the scheduling yet, but Dom, if you've got an idea for your character, email me at capitalocracy at gmail.

Awesome! Actually I'm not from Argentina, I'm from Kansas, but I married a girl from Argentina so here I am for the moment.

Planning on recording the sessions for podcasting. I have an Eclipse Phase campaign formulating in my head. The campaign would be called Ascension and the first chapter of the campaign would be called Rapture, but those are all the details you get. If you want to have a peek inside my head to see what you might be in for, check out my entry to the Know Evil fan creation contest.

I'm geographically isolated (stuck in Argentina) and really wanting to get back into gaming. Also I'm a freelance worker, so my schedule is flexible, but I want to come up with a once a week slot that works for everyone, even if not everyone can be there every week.

Also, forgot the mention, those who read my entry, I have a question for you. But don't read the question until after reading the story.
Was the ending obvious?
Here's my entry. It's a short (?) story. This is the first piece of fiction I've written and showed to other people since high school (in other words, in over a decade), so be nice, but be honest. Or don't be nice, just be honest. If anyone has any better feedback than "tldr", I'll take it. It's called The Long Game.

Starting to have second thoughts about entering this contest... some tough acts to follow.  :o

General Chaos / Re: Kickstarter: Cool Stuff

Well, Western society may be doomed anyway. But then the people like this guy who doomed it can look back to this article and say see? I told you so. It was Kickstarter, video game preorders, illegal downloads, and teh gay. Brought down society, just like we said.
