Role Playing Public Radio Podcast / Re: The best of Delta Green on RPPR

Too lazy to look up the timecode right now, but that description of the Green Box contents from Lover in the Ice, including the caged bird. I'll never look at a self-storage facility the same way.

Someone says they're sorry to a specific country for an awful accent or comment.

I would say BRP- the d% system is pretty easy to grasp, really.

As Aaron suggested, the Haunting is a pretty good, quick scenario. Afterwards, you can have them listen to Aaron's run and see how it could have gone! Kidding, love ya, Aaron!  ;D

If you want a more modern scenario(though I'm sure the Haunting can be updated), PX Poker Night is a pretty good one- with or without the Pregens that are supplied with the scenario. Also a good lead-in, or just a good feel of Delta Green, should you lean that way. I've run it twice now with 2 different (newb)groups, and there was plenty of roleplaying involved.

Aw man, I wish I had been there to get a David hug.

Oh, I completely agree with you. I tried making a Raillery video for the first season and failed miserably as I tried to make snarky comments and was stunned into silence.

I just finished the main "Campaign" of Walking Dead(still have 400 days left to do), and holy shit- the feels.  :'( :-[

Awesome game.

I'd like to help out with the playtest, but my group is a bit flaky at getting together regularly.

I'm interested in seeing Sword Coast Legends, as a long-time D&D/FR gamer. Haven't looked into it much, yet.

Currently playing the Walking Dead adventure game, about to start Episode 3. Jesus, with the decisions. It's fucking nerve-racking!

I wasn't sure how much would fit on a shirt as it was, David. But yes, adding those would be Awwww-sooooome!

The image of the wonderful "shark knifing" incident from RPPR illustrated.

"Warning: Listening to RPPR may cause side effects such as: Shark-fighting, Dog-punching, Horrible-monstering, and a sense of increasing all-encompassing cosmic dread. If you should experience any of these symptoms(or dog punching lasting longer than 4 combat rounds), please see your party doctor/psychiatrist." Ia. Ia.

RPGs / Re: Eclipse Phase

That said, I successfully ran Eclipse Phase at GenCon 2014.  So I don't think its strictly me.

Sounds a lot like my group. If I plan a game of Fantasy Savage Worlds, or Dungeon World, or even CoC, people drag their feet, act noncommittal, and cancel out a couple days before the game. Though a couple guys are into new/different systems, 2 or 3 of the others just do not seem to get into anything other than D&D. (Which I do like to play as well)

Been playing(and continue to play) 5E D&D Expeditions mods(Adventurer's League Organized Play), and on Friday night, we're finishing up Part 2 of Delta Green: Convergence! Part 1 was serious fun.

Best Derailment:

C'mon, all the categories can't be about Aaron.

(apologies to Aaron)
