The Cyberpunk Apocalypse engine  game The Sprawl is finally out! I'm glad to have a game that lets me make my own world.

Link? Is it available on Steam? Sounds like something I'd like to check out.

I just finished "The Grace of Kings" by Ken Lieu and it was fantastic. It's like Game of Thrones without the terrible prose set in some kind of multi-racial pseudo-China at the end of the Warring States Period. Highly recommend.

Seconded.

Also, how many of us are on GoodReads? Come friend me, I friend back: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/51856402-laura-briskin

This was an interesting and refreshing take on Red Markets. I'll mention it in the hacking thread but after this session and listening to the Drunk and Ugly's Leverage mini-campaign I think a heist hack of Red Markets could easily work.

Personally I was pulling from my Shadow Run experience – and that was high-quality grade bullshit I spun for that tour :D

Less freaky and more spooky, but found a new photographer with some cool stuff:

Cutty: David
MacReady: Tom
Han: Shaun
Aamu: Faust
Refurb: Aaron
Half-Off: Caleb (I'm cheating on this one - Ross confirmed this in the GroupMe chat, 'cause Caleb wants to test the prosthesis rules)

Granted, I'm going to finish the Red Markets novella and hopefully offer an audiobook version of it as a backer reward, but I started writing it for myself, to get an idea of what the setting was all about on the ground level.

Seconding (thirding?) looking forward to the novella. Let me know if you want a contact in the audiobook industry - a friend is a voice actor for audible and might be able to put you in touch with freelancers who do the type of acting you'd want.

Posters, postcards, bookmarks, etc. of the cover or other nice pieces of interior art.

Seconding the playmat and GM screen.

This might be more of a stretch goal than a reward but extra pre-gens and several pre-made contracts for GMs. I'd pay money to contribute a character to the pre-gen pool.

Dice tins, particularly if they look like they're converted from old, beat-up Altoids tins or other scavenged materials

Stretch goals for supplements:
Dastardly Deathtraps: Quarentechture as Passive Resistance
Malevolent Maelstroms: Field Observations of Casualty Weather Patterns

I've now played in a Space Whales centric scenario (at GenCon and written by the PostHuman Studios guys) and it worked well. It was an all Whales scenario on the surface of the Sirius star and involved truly TITAN-esque technology - a station directly harnessing the power of a sun. I think we're talking Type III on the Kardashev scale in terms of the evolution of technology there.

It was a fun game, partially for the Raven uplift who identified with the Dinosaur Identity movement sleeved into an enormous space whale wielding a ship-sized railgun as a sniper weapon as he screamed that he was "The Raptor on high!"

WW2 references being better than Trainspotting references I guess?

Whoever did that Whitney Houston song during Prophet's Hope owes me a coffee.
Or at least the mouthful I lost.

Which time? I believe it was sung twice  ;D

Looking forward to hearing this campaign!

A sick part of me wants to respond to the ad just to see the game in action; that is, if it'll work.

Dooooo it! Think of the stories you'll be able to regale us with!
