RPPR Episode 35: Gencon 2009 Preview

Donate to the RPPR Ransom, The Goblin Hulk, a 4E D&D Dungeon usable in any campaign!

Tom, Aaron and I discuss our plans for this year’s Gencon and RPPR’s third time there. But before we get into that, I discuss the werestorm, one of the more baffling features of the World of Synnibarr. Tom’s going to play in several games and I’m running 6 games for Arc Dreams. Even Aaron is going to play in a few games, including some fancy Battletech Pods. Scott Glancy of Pagan Publishing might even let us playtest some new WW1 Call of Cthulhu scenarios.

  1. Just got finished listening to your podcast. I feel bad for Aaron after listening to that. Ross, dude, give the guy a break! Haha, seriously, this episode really highlights the strong rapport you enjoy with Tom. Great, great stuff. Synnibarr sounds totally rad! Raven McCracken is obviously some Cthulhuesque dark prodigy tasked with blighting the world with an needlessly complex game system!
Keep up the great work guys. Try and have fun at Gen-Con this year and stay away from the ten dollar brownies!!!

  2. My favourite quote from this ep (I paraphase):
: “Yes, I will do this because I am on this show”.
I looked like a mental patient laughing out loud to this on the bus.
